You should plan for a day on the lake and/or trails, in the elements; sun, rain, wind. For SUP tours, a swimsuit or board shorts, beach towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses are the basics and required for the tour. Everything has the potential to get wet, so a dry bag (10 liter or smaller) is a good idea for your phone or camera. A light colored, long sleeved rash guard and visor are great additions to your pack.
For hiking tours, guests should bring gear appropriate for day hiking; sturdy hiking shoes, small backpack, water bottle(s), packable rain gear, insect repellent, medications.
Hiking and paddling demand energy, so food is a must. Sandwiches, salads, fruits, and granola are all good choices. There are coolers on board the pontoon boat for those that bring items that require refrigeration. There is a water cooler aboard as well, and to prevent excess waste, we suggest you bring a water bottle, such as a Nalgene.
Dry clothes, light long sleeve shirt and pants are also must haves. Packing light, in a single backpack or bag conserves space on the boat. Check the weather and plan accordingly.
